History/Company Profile:

Located in the heart of Boca Raton, Boca Pointe Country Club offers its members a resort type atmosphere in a luxurious country club setting.
We pride ourselves on being a club where members fit in, make friends, and quickly become part of our community, whether they are full or part-time residents. Our members have the opportunity to create an individual lifestyle through a variety of choices, including first rate golf, tennis, health, wellness and fitness programs, and exceptional dining.

Medical:


The Club offers health insurance to full-time, regular employees through Aetna Healthcare on the 1st of the month after 90 days of active employment. There are three plan designs offered: HMO low, HMO high, and QPOS. There are four tiers of coverage: Employee Only, Employee + Spouse, Employee + Child(ren), and Family. Premium is a pre-tax benefit and rate is based on the plan chosen. The Club subsidizes 86% of Employee only cost for the HMO Low plan. Dental:


The Club offers dental insurance to full-time, regular employees through Aetna Healthcare on the 1st of the month after 90 days of active employment. There are two plan choices: DMO (Dental HMO) or PPO plans via the Freedom of Choice network. This is a voluntary benefit. Employee premiums are pre-tax and the rate is based on the chosen beneficiaries. There are four tiers of coverage: Employee Only, Employee + Spouse, Employee + Child(ren), and Family. The Club offers supplemental vision insurance to full-time, regular employees on the 1st of the month after 90 days of active employment. There are three tiers of coverage: Employee Only, Employee + One, and Family. This is a voluntary benefit. Employee premiums are pre-tax and the rate is based on the chosen beneficiaries. Life and AD&D:


Employees who elect medical insurance are eligible to receive $10,000 Basic Life insurance paid for by the Club. The carrier is Aetna Healthcare. Coverage ends on the last day of active employment.

 

Short and Long Term Disability:


AFLAC – The Club has partnered with AFLAC to offer supplemental insurance coverages to eligible employees. Employees enroll directly with the AFLAC representative and premiums are paid by the employee via payroll deduction. Policies are portable upon separation from the company. Supplemental Life:


Eligible employees can purchase Aetna supplemental life insurance, guarantee issue, in 10,000 increments, up to $100,000 or 3 x base salary, whichever is lower. Premiums are based on age range and amount of coverage desired. Employees who elect Supplemental Life are also eligible to purchase Spouse and/or Child Life coverage. Policy is portable upon separation from the company.

 

401K:


Employees who work 1040 hours or more during the year are eligible to participate in the Club’s 401(k) retirement plan. Employees can contribute pre-tax dollars, up to the plan limitations and annual limit set by the government each year. Currently, there is no company match. Employees can enroll on the 1st of the month following 90 days of active employment, or the 1st of any month thereafter. Go to www.mykplan.com for additional details.

FREE meal – The Club provides a free meal per shift in the employee cafeteria for the staff.
