Wanted to drop you a line to say thank you for all you have done.
Starting a new job or even looking for one is never an easy task.
However you have made doing so easier than I ever expected.
When you first called me, I was most hesitant, as I had not had good
previous experiences. My previous encounters with career managers
didn’t seem interested in whether the new job was right for
me, only that they placed me. Your thoughtfulness and thoroughness
at every turn never ceased to amaze me. The interviews you lined up
for me were definitely what I was looking for, and you made sure I
had plenty of choices to choose from. I also appreciated all of the
collateral material you provided about each company, as some of them
I had never heard of. I am not sure I would’ve been able to
go through the career move had you not had been so supportive with
your pre-interview phone calls and post-interview phone calls. Even
after I accepted the job and had started, you made sure to call me
every week or so to make sure the transition was going well and that
I was happy. Your professionalism throughout the entire process never
waned, and certainly made the job hunting experience more palatable.
Thank you for all that you have done. I am very happy with my new
job, and am satisfied that I made the right decision, not only once,
but twice. The first was accepting your assistance, and the second
was taking this new job.
